Leni’s 4 Year Old Doctor Appointment

This is the first year Leni got to wear a little robe at the doctor.

Leni did great at her four-year old doctor appointment. (And the doc was pleased to note she hasn’t been to a doctor’s office since her 3 year old appointment.) She jumped from the 5th percentile for height and weight to about the 20th. She still doesn’t quite weigh 30 lbs, but she really shot up in inches. She took her shots with no fuss or tears! And, she was very pleased with the Scooby Doo band aid she got. She still loves Scooby Doo more than just about anything else except maybe lions and her daddy.

Sunday at the Children’s Museum

It was chilly and rainy today, so the children’s museum was packed, but Leni, her school friend Emma and I braved the crowds and had a great time. Leni’s favorite thing to do is pretend she is a lion and often refers to her hands as paws or talks about her mane instead of her hair. Her current plan is to come back in her next life as a lion.

Yesterday (Saturday) we ran into Leni’s friend Emma from Wee Care and she invited Leni over to bake cookies and have hot chocolate. When I came to pick her up the girls gave each other such a bear hug that they fell over.
